Who you are

  • We need to team up with an individual who is willing to help us in spreading the Agile love and keeping the Release Train on track!
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years of successful experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach for cross-functional teams
  • Jira and Confluence Mastery: Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence, with experience in administration considered a significant advantage
  • Certification: Recognised Scrum Master certification and a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices
  • Passion for Engineering Challenges: Demonstrated creativity and a genuine passion for tackling engineering challenges, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic start-up environment
  • Effective Communication: Excellent presentation, documentation, communication, and influencing skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the field, with at least 2 years of shining as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach for teams across the board
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects of varying sizes and stages simultaneously
  • Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Ace in presenting, documenting, and influencing, ready to groove with stakeholders at all levels
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional discipline and organization skills to coordinate tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Certification: Certified Scrum Master badge is a must, along with a rock-solid grasp of Agile principles and practices
  • Passion for Challenges: Show us your creativity and zest for tackling engineering puzzles, and thrive in the vibe of our dynamic start-up atmosphere
  • Jira and Confluence Expertise: Master of Atlassian Jira and Confluence, with a bonus if you've got admin skills up your sleeve

What the job involves

  • As a Release Train Engineer (RTE) at Grouper, You will be spreading the Agile love and keeping the Release Train on track!
  • You will be orchestrating the Agile Release Train (ART) to deliver tunes of value in the form of working, tested software and systems
  • Get ready to lead the band and keep everyone in sync as we hit all the right notes aligned with our business objectives
  • Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes and ceremonies: From epic jams at PI planning to keeping the rhythm in scrum of scrums sessions
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders: Groove on priorities and ensure our delivery hits all the right beats
  • Serve as a servant leader for Agile teams within the ART: Jamming out obstacles, encouraging collaboration, and tuning into continuous improvement
  • Monitor and track progress towards PI objectives: Riff on risks and dependencies to ensure we hit our delivery crescendo
  • Work with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM): Harmonise strategy and execution, ensuring our ART initiatives rock out in tune with overall business goals
  • Embrace Agile principles, practices, and tools: Spread the vibe of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning as our resident guru
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across distributed teams: Ensuring we're all jamming to the same tune
  • Drive Agile transformation initiatives as a change agent: Bring the groove and promote a culture of agility and innovation
  • Mentor and coach teams on Agile principles and practices: Empower them to jam out like pros
  • Collaborate with system architects, product management, and other key stakeholders: Ensure our solution architecture is hitting all the right notes
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Contract, or Daily Rate Contract
