- Keyrus is looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure
- At least 8 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Solid experience with Oracle Cloud data platforms, databases, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Deep understanding of data integration technologies, specifically Apigee, OCI and data integration services (ODI, DataFlow)
- Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Airflow
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for data engineering tasks
- Experience with data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of data quality and profiling techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
What the job involves
- Keyrus is looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure
- As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data pipelines that efficiently extract, transform, and load data into our target systems
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Cloud and Cloud infrastructure platforms and technologies, preference OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
- Develop data ingestion processes from various sources, including APIs, databases, and files, into the target data environment
- Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices
