Who you are

  • Minimum of 5 years of leading cross-functional analytics teams, ideally game analytics
  • Prior experience collaborating and being the point person for multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to use and understand in-game trends using data insights to affect top line Indicators

  • Experience working with Snowflake as analytics layer

What the job involves

  • The Senior Analytics Manager will be part of the Sport Analytics team and will help us scale up the data and analytics capabilities for the NHL and UFC Studios. You will report directly to the Sports Analytics Director and will work closely with the broader Sports Data and Analytics (DnA) team and the DnA organization
  • Lead a team of analysts, data engineers and BI developers and deliver high-impact analytics initiatives to enhance player experiences and game performance using advanced data techniques
  • Provide mentorship and hands on guidance to empower the team and help them grow
  • Foster strong collaboration with the NHL/UFC live services team and the product managers to help them optimize the live service activities
  • Build a strong relationship with the studio leadership, partners and central team
  • Influence decisions by providing actionable insights and optimization opportunities that will help to grow the product
  • Delivering end to end data solution and cross-functional analytics project
  • Proactively seek for optimization opportunities and deliver recommendations that will help the product managers to grow the game
  • Support the product team with their experimentation strategies Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features, content updates, and live service events. Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations
  • Partner with the game team and provide the insights they need to design the future game features, enrich with new data telemetry and ensure the data quality from the game
  • Develop predictive models to forecast player behavior, engagement, and monetization trends. Use these models to guide strategic decisions and improve game health
  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the overall goals of the NHL game product management team. Ensure that data initiatives are effectively prioritized and resourced
