Who you are
- You are a seasoned Android Engineer passionate about crafting efficient, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications
- With your extensive experience in Kotlin and Android development, you possess the skills to transform complex requirements into innovative solutions swiftly
- Eager to take on challenging tasks, you always look for learning opportunities and thrive in environments that value collaboration, continuous improvement, and a touch of creativity
- Android Development: at least four years of professional experience in Android development with a deep understanding of Kotlin for native development. You should have proven experience with at least one application on the Google Play Store. Bonus point if you have JNI and native development (C/C++) expertise
- Scalability and Maintainability: You are sensitive to the scalability and maintainability of your code. Mastering development principles allows you to write efficient, scalable, easy-to-maintain code. Bonus point: you don’t hesitate to create tools to simplify specific processes (Gradle Custom Task, Scripting, etc.)
- Think First, Code Later Approach: You plan thoughtfully before coding and understand the importance of strategising to ensure efficient and effective development processes
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about technological news and actively engage in learning and discussions with colleagues to share knowledge and learn about emerging technologies

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to build high-impact Android applications with exceptional quality as fast as possible
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to code that tens of millions of users worldwide will use, grow your skills, and actively participate in the life of the Product Engineering department and your Squad
- Collaboratively work with the Product team to analyse user needs and requirements
- Design, develop, and implement new features and applications using Kotlin and adhere to best practices in Android development
- Actively participate in continuously improving and maintaining existing applications to ensure they meet the evolving needs of users and the business
- Engage in testing and quality assurance of all developed features and applications to guarantee reliability and functionality
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, Product Managers, and other engineers to deliver collaborative projects

The company develops music apps across different segments such as production, gaming, learning and utilities. Top apps published by MWM include Beat Maker Pro, Drum Machine, Beat Snap 2, TaoMix 2 and Edjing Mix. The company has also launched a hardware device, Phase, which enables users to turn turntables into digital DJ controllers.
MWM wants to expand beyond music and tackle new verticals in the creative space. Its recent pivot to using AI tools in production will help achieve this, and its currently working on about 50 apps in the leisure and creativity space. Currently the largest non-gaming app producer in France, the company has its sights set on the United States where it has recently begun expanding its operations.
