Role

Who you are

  • 2-4 years of experience in a B2B business development, sales, or lead generation role, preferably within the cybersecurity or SaaS industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential clients
  • Excellent research and prospecting skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and qualify leads effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools to manage and track lead generation activities such as Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with new business prospects

Desirable

  • BS/BA degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with AI and/or start-up environments

What the job involves

  • As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be instrumental in driving our growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities
  • You will collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop a robust pipeline of qualified leads and support our strategic sales initiatives
  • Develop and execute a strategic outbound plan to identify and qualify new business opportunities within the private sector, focusing on industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, and technology
  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and key decision-makers within target accounts
  • Utilize various prospecting methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, to generate interest and secure meetings for the Sales team
  • Work closely with Commercial team members to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and support the sales cycle from initial contact through to close
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate information on prospects and leads, ensuring data integrity
  • Openness to attend industry events, conferences, networking functions and travel to build brand awareness and expand our presence in the private sector market
