Role

Who you are

  • Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 5 - 7 years work experience in a Revenue / AR accountant role or within a financial consultancy
  • Knowledge in either German GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS, internal controls and financial reporting required
  • You have worked with traditional accounting systems: experience with Netsuite (Oracle) is a big plus
  • Experienced working with Google Suite and MS Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
  • Experience in analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a SaaS desirable
  • Team player attitude, analytical mindset with a structured way of thinking and a love for numbers
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German

  • We're the financial wizards who ensure smooth payments, client satisfaction, and expense control across all departments at Adjust. Prepare to be amazed by the prowess of our Accounting Department
  • As a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be based in our HQ in Berlin. You will work closely with different internal and external stakeholders from around the globe and handle the revenue and account receivable accounting side, with a focus on cash collections process and the month-end report preparation and analysis
  • Additionally, you’ll enable the management and other teams to operate and drive decisions based on the latest financial data
  • Day to day tasks
  • Monitoring overdue debts on a regular basis
  • Contacting past due accounts to collect the money to avoid the involvement of the collection agencies
  • Managing the cash collection process; Be the main point of contact for the collection agencies dedicated managers
  • Analyzing customer arrangements and transactions to ensure correct revenue recognition
  • Reviewing payment agreements and service contracts to check payment terms
  • Making adjustments including posting debits and credits as needed
  • Assisting in designing, administering and implementing process and control procedures, with particular focus on SOX compliance
  • Month-end tasks
  • Preparation of monthly revenue summaries for individual Adjust subsidiaries
  • Monthly preparation of the month-end reconciliation of AR accounts and AR aging as well as management reporting slides
  • Consolidating revenue summaries into the Group Revenue Summary (Revenue dashboard)
  • Monthly postings of bad debt expense and revenue-related journals
  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory audit
