Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of experience as an AI engineer or similar role putting AI software into production
- Experience with MLOps tools for lifecycle management, LLM implementation and GenAI ops putting models into production and providing support
- Experience developing and using APIs for AI development and integration
- Demonstrated proficiency and continuous improvement in Jasper’s technical stack (cloud platforms, AI technologies)
- Proven track record of software delivery for customers and their outcomes
What the job involves
- As a Senior AI Engineer, you will combine technical excellence and team effectiveness to drive outcomes for Jasper customer
- You will spend time coding, technical design, and problem-solving, and have architectural oversight over evolving Jasper’s multi-modal AI platform
- You will be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code into production multiple times a day
- This fully remote role reports to the Technical Lead Manager
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software with deep expertise in AI software, processes and algorithms to achieve desired results
- Write readable, maintainable, self-documenting or well-documented code to solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions
- Use AI analysis to evaluate effectiveness and make strategy recommendations that align with company goals
- Stay current on AI knowledge, trends, and regulations while contributing to company AI processes and policies
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers and designers to develop software solutions for customers

While AI has been going mainstream across many industries, its use in creative content production, rather than content analysis, has largely been met with doubt. Jasper is attempting to up the standards with its writing assistant, which can generate original long or short form content based on a short brief.
With over 100,000 customers, Jasper is used by a number of high-profile companies such as Google, IBM, and Airbnb. While ChatGPT has been dominating the news space surrounding generative AI, it has significant limits resulting from overburdened servers and a long waitlist to use the product - whereas JasperAI provides faster results and is readily available. The company is well set to see further growth as it rides the rising popularity wave of generative AI.
