- Independent in driving discovery processes and leveraging customer insights to inform product strategy and define design directions
- Skilled in leading the design process from ambiguity to concept and execution
- Proven track record of working with cross functional partners effectively to accomplish design goals
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex systems-thinking, while drawing connections across features and teams
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficient in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling
- Portfolio required, showcasing consumer-grade craftsmanship and effective product solutions tailored to customer needs
What the job involves
- We are currently seeking a B2B Senior Designer to join our Product Platform team
- This role will be focused on crafting intuitive and flexible horizontal platform-wide features like collaboration (comments, tasks, ownership), notifications, access management, and billing, used by our internal teams to provide consistent experiences for our Vanta customers
- This role is crucial in bringing our vision to life
- You will report to a Design Director within the Experience Design Organization
- Lead the design and execution of strategic shared primitives, components, and features that are intuitive, flexible, and deliver substantial customer value, while enabling our internal teams with consistent experiences cross-platform
- Conduct customer discovery to inform feature strategy, helping to craft thoughtful, scalable experiences that support the Platform team’s vision and objectives
- Partner and align with your product team to help identify and advocate for design-driven initiatives with organization-wide impact
- Drive collaboration with your design peers to ensure shared solutions meet the needs and shape of each area of the platform
- Develop clear frameworks and guidelines to drive design decision-making and enable your design peers to easily adopt new shared patterns
- Contribute to and refine our design system to ensure it aligns with strategic goals while maintaining consistent, high-quality design standards

The security auditing process is usually very time-consuming, taking hours to complete, and it is often difficult for start-ups to invest time into such a process. Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with start-ups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
The company is a compliance portal and security monitoring platform that businesses use to assess their risk levels. Vanta carries out a pre-audit of a company's digital security and highlights areas that need to be worked on before a full analysis of all threats is carried out. Other businesses such as Datadog or PagerDuty offer similar security monitoring services, but Vanta monitors its customers throughout the year, allowing any issues to be identified and addressed early on.
Vanta has found a valuable cybersecurity niche within the giant SaaS market. Companies such as Lattice, Clubhouse, and Calm are all customers, demonstrating a growing trend for companies to manage their cybersecurity proactively, which Vanta should be able to take advantage of to further grow and develop into the future.
