What the job involves

  • As a Business Development Representative at Meridianlink, you will fuel our pipeline generation by qualifying pre-pipeline opportunities for the MeridianLink sales team
  • The BDR is the first point of contact and will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads in both and outbound and inbound function
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop contacts to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
  • Research accounts, identify key roles, and generate interest through cold discovery calls and email campaigns
  • Create relationships with potential customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability
  • Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs
  • Set up meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation to strategically create opportunities within identified accounts
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives
  • Meet and exceed daily metrics that involve calls, emails, and social interactions
  • Use and maintain the tech stack which includes Salesforce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo
