Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Python or Ruby for automation and configuration
  • 8+ years in systems engineering, corporate infrastructure, or IT, with extensive experience in AWS, IAM, IaC, automation, and Mac/Windows environments
  • Advanced knowledge of modern Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Jamf, WorkspaceOne, and Intune
  • Experience with maintaining and deploying configuration management solutions at scale
  • Skilled in implementing, managing, and scaling IAM solutions, with a focus on Okta
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

What the job involves

  • The Business Technology team is on the lookout for a seasoned DevOps/Systems Engineer to elevate and streamline our IT infrastructure
  • This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our endpoint environments (Mac/Windows/Chrome OS), automating identity and access management (IAM) solutions, and building AWS infrastructure
  • We seek a proactive and detail-oriented professional dedicated to enhancing the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems—crucial for empowering both our customers and our business
  • Maintain and enhance our endpoint management tools to deliver an exceptional experience across macOS, Windows, Chrome OS devices
  • Develop and enforce robust policies for network and endpoint security, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and our security partners
  • Apply engineering best practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, configuration management, log aggregation, monitoring, telemetry, alerting, and automation to scale and optimize our critical IT functions and services
  • Implement and maintain automated IAM solutions, particularly with Okta, to streamline access requests and bolster our security posture
  • Lead and manage system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Work closely with the Business Technology team and other departments to align IT infrastructure with business strategies and project goals
  • Mentor junior engineers and peers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
