Who you are

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the cyber-security market along with a deep understanding of all the elements required to successfully activate global, regional and boutique system integrators
  • Proven experience of business development or alliances at a SaaS startup, successfully implementing channel/field alliances strategy to drive increased sales
  • A track record of exceeding channel sales revenue targets
  • A business leader who is able to influence and build strong relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations
  • Current knowledge of the trends and market leading companies in the broader Cloud Computing and Identity Access Management ecosystem
  • Experience with Cloud Software Vendors and their strategies/business models

What the job involves

  • Okta is looking for a Regional Alliances Manager with strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to partner with Okta’s Regional System Integrators with the aim of extending and enhancing Okta’s channel eco-system in the region
  • Build and grow the Okta practices for our System Integrator partners across France
  • Identify, onboard and activate new partners to support revenue growth
  • Define joint, tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate with Oktas executives, business development, marketing and field sales teams to execute a partner-first motion

Okta started off as an identity company where organisations, large and small, could tap into the company to have a single sign-on interface to access all cloud applications now centralised. Okta has since expanded to provide identity management at the device as well as the server level.

The new approach towards network security is increasingly based on identification and authentication, and Okta is on track to become the go-to vendor in the space. They aim to do so by developing products that enable people to access applications and other tools more smoothly and securely than ever before.

Okta has taken strides towards expansion through significant employee growth and shuffling executive leadership. The company has also made lateral moves such as tackling governance concerns, opening up new paths for revenue.
