Who you are

  • 3-7+ years of relevant industry experience (e-commerce, retail, marketplace…)
  • Experience working in data analysis for CRM and/or eCommerce teams is a must
  • A good balance of statistical/technical skills, business acumen, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of customer shopping behaviors online
  • Excellent communication skills across different countries and cultures
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python)
  • Ability to make business decisions with a data-driven approach
  • Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling is a plus

What the job involves

  • As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be part of the Engagement team, a combination of Merchandising and CRM focused on driving long-term engagement across all touchpoints and building best-in-class user journeys
  • You will be responsible for data insight needs within the Engagement team, supporting with regular reporting, sharing insights, and proactively contributing to key projects focused on improving user engagement across multiple channels
  • Be an active contributor to the marketing and product long-term engagement strategy by delivering actionable insights and recommendations on how to drive customer engagement and retention
  • Build and maintain Engagement reporting within Tableau regularly, focusing on campaign analysis, purchasing trends, CRM core metrics, product performance, and more
  • Proactively identify key areas of opportunities to improve engagement thanks to a deep understanding of our users’ lifetime value (LTV) and their high-value actions (HVA)
  • Track and analyze repeat purchase behavior to understand patterns and identify strategies to increase this metric
  • Actively contribute to building a vision of our incentives strategy (referral programs, promotional codes, gamification, etc.) to increase both acquisition and engagement
  • Leverage machine learning techniques on user behavior to predict churn or propensity to purchase
  • Collaborate closely with business & senior leadership, supporting their needs, and sharing analysis & recommendations in an impactful way
