Who you are

  • You are currently enrolled in a master’s degree in Business School / IAE or Business oriented Engineer School. Strategic Consultancy is a plus
  • You have at least 6 months' experience ideally in either Strategic Consultancy and/or Business Analytics fields
  • You have an excellent level of written and spoken English
  • You have advanced level of the Office Pack
  • You demonstrate strong curiosity, dynamism and proactivity
  • You have the ability to work as part of a team and you are open-minded
  • You are rigorous, flexible and have the ability to work autonomously

What the job involves

  • Want to join a fast-moving company and work among convivial teams? Pernod Ricard, is looking for its next intern for the Strategic Planning team, starting in January 2025. You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris
  • The Group Marketing Department is responsible for developing and deploying strategic marketing and sales solutions for the Group, in collaboration with all subsidiaries
  • Within the Strategy & Insights team, you will be part of the Strategic Planning team whose purpose is to lead the design and animate the execution of the Group Strategic Roadmap, fully substantiated by data and insights, in close coordination and collaboration with Affiliates
  • You will participate in the elaboration of strategic analyses and recommendations to enlighten strategic arbitrations at group level & support the team in building the next strategic planning process to optimize and secure the Group’s future growth trajectory
  • You will work specifically on 3 key topics:
  • Business Cases to crack strategic challenges or unlock opportunities based on strong Business Insights & Analytics
  • Group’s next strategic plan framing & future roadmap
  • Strategic Planning Community animation across Affiliates as a “Collective Brain”
  • 1) Master Business Analytics & Competitive Intelligence
  • You will enlighten decision taking through on demand case studies on business challenges / opportunities working closely with the HQ’s Business Insights, Consumer Insights and Demand Censing Teams
  • You will improve tracking tools through performance & status follow-up monitoring on the group’s strategic battlegrounds and current plan follow-up
  • 2) Document Strategic Battlegrounds cross-portfolio
  • You will support Strategic Planning Managers in coordinating strategic streams & prepare recommendations for key business arbitrations through compelling and action-oriented business casing
  • 3) Frame the Group’s next Strategic Roadmap
  • You will support Strategic Planning Managers on shapping (design & evolution) of the Pernod Ricard group’s next Strategic framework cycle
  • 4) Animate the group’s “Strategic Planning Community”
  • You will contribute to the coordination & animation (including seminars preparation & content creation) of a global strategic Planning network within Brand Companies and Management Entities to build collective strategic knowledge and share points of view on methodology & contents
