  • Objection Handling: Capability to address and overcome objections effectively
  • Cold Calling Skills: Confidence and skill in making cold calls to potential leads
  • Email Outreach: Crafting compelling and personalized emails to engage prospects

Desirable

  • Market Knowledge: Awareness of the industry, market trends, and the target audience
  • Sales Process Knowledge: Familiarity with the stages of the sales cycle and the typical journey of a lead from prospecting to closing
  • Sales Experience: Prior experience in a sales role, especially in outbound sales or telemarketing
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the same or a related industry can be beneficial

What the job involves

  • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CloudFactory, this position is responsible for generating leads for prospective customers and performing basic qualification of leads
  • Your customers will primarily be venture-backed, technology-centric startups, but also include everything from SMB-large-enterprise companies to IPO’d startups
  • You will help create lead lists within selected micro-markets and perform cold outreach via email, social media and phone (outbound), as well as field inquiries from the website and other channels (inbound)
  • Your goal is to set appointments with high-quality prospects for our AEs
  • You will maintain a firm grasp on your lead pipeline, relevant metrics, and KPIs to ensure ability to meet personal and team performance goals
  • Additionally, your proactive input and suggestions for improving processes, implementing best practices, and otherwise refining CloudFactory’s sales operations will be welcomed
  • Due to the global nature of CloudFactory’s operations and client base, there may be regular or occasional meetings/calls which occur outside of normal business hours
  • Employee is continuously required to talk and hear, frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, type on a computer keyboard, and reach with hands and arms
