Who you are

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/communications or related field - Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in marketing leadership and/or communications; previous working experience as a Marketing VP or Director for at least 3 years
  • Experience managing and inspiring a team of contributors - both direct and indirect reports
  • Demonstrated leadership, writing, and communication skills
  • Experience executing market analysis and developing collateral in PowerPoint and other creative software
  • Experience with lead-generation/ABM capabilities within Salesforce or similar CRM a plus
  • Ability to work independently and/or facilitate communications across functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, performance-oriented, team-based environment
  • Deep understanding of changing market dynamics and trends

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a VP of Corporate Marketing to lead local marketing teams as they create and execute cross-channel marketing plans. This individual will oversee teams across the Americas, EMEA and JAPAC
  • Building off our corporate marketing strategy, this individual will work with regional marketing directors (and their teams) and commercial leadership to create local marketing plans - developing programs that drive awareness, promote thought leadership, and support lead generation and communications initiatives targeting top prospects and customers in each region
  • This individual will work closely with leaders and teams across product marketing, marketing analytics, events, creative, editorial, and operations to develop strategies, manage timelines, and execute seamlessly on time and on budget
  • This individual will also be responsible for ensuring all programs are accountable and measurable based on designated KPIs
  • The VP will collaborate closely with the CMO to define strategies and tactics that will enable DV to fortify its leadership position as a company that powers media quality and performance for top brands and agencies
  • This means raising our profile in key markets, and designing content and outreach programs with messaging that is attuned to local market nuances and specifically resonates with target clients
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders and stakeholders across all aspects of corporate marketing including brand, content, and customer marketing
  • Develop marketing programs that accelerate revenue and market share growth
  • Further DV’s position as an industry thought leader, collaborating with the cross-functional teams to establish the strategic planning and execution of large-scale content programs and priority research projects
  • Work with Regional Directors to design and implement programs that maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of cross-channel customer marketing and communications - addressing the key needs of individual regions
  • Work with Regional Directors to design and implement regional PR strategies that resonate with local audiences
  • Partner with product marketing and commercial stakeholders to drive the execution of marketing strategies tailored to different customer priorities and needs (i.e., verticals, lifecycle stages, etc.)
  • Collaborate on a cross-channel approach to marketing and communications that reinforces core content and strategic themes, working with global Directors to localize messaging and approach
  • Nurture and develop a talented team of local practitioners to achieve these goals
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
  • Build long-term relationships with employees, customers, industry associations, and stakeholders

Since it was first launched, DoubleVerify has successfully carved out an impressive market share, and now boasts customers such as digital advertising giant Facebook as long-time customers. Its success is largely owed to the quality of its technology, which far outperforms that of its rivals. DoubleVerify has consolidated its success by expanding the range of languages its tools support. It has also expanded into new markets such as Australia and New Zealand, a key indicator of the company’s continued growth.

The digital ad space is changing constantly, and DoubleVerify will need to remain as agile and adaptive as it is at present in order to compete with rivals such as Tremor and Quantcast. A 2021 IPO was followed by two rounds of funding and several product releases, including a tiered brand suitability tool as well as key executive hires.
