What the job involves

  • Marigold is hiring a Manager to lead our US HR Partners.
  • This role will be a player-coach, who will help to develop our team of HR Partners while also providing expert guidance and advice on HR matters to our US business, and participating in global HR projects.
  • This role will report to the VP, Human Resources
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of HR Partners, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Coach and mentor HR team members, supporting their professional development and growth within the organization
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on US employment laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance across all HR functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to develop and implement HR policies, programs, and initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support for employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
  • Work with our Systems and Data team to maintain the HRIS system accurately as a single source of truth on all employee data
  • Conduct HR audits to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for best practices
  • Collaborate with Payroll Partners to ensure smooth delivery of payroll
  • Coach People Managers on leadership development questions, in line with the organization’s leadership principles
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
