San Francisco-based Gradle has developed its own open-source build automation software, automating the process of compiling code, testing it and creating files with all necessary dependencies.
The company boasts customers from eBay, Fitbit, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Pinterest, Salesforce, Square and Twitter, whose development teams deploy Gradle Enterprise in order to rapidly deliver quality software at scale. Its open-source build automation has generated considerable appreciation, being downloaded over roughly 25 million times a month.
Gradle has ambitious plans ahead, including further investment into accelerating Gradle Enterprise support for all major language ecosystems used within the enterprise, and extending its product functionality leadership whilst scaling sales and customer support internationally. The company also acquired Swiss-based software development technology provider Triplequote to extend its productivity solution portfolio.
