What the job involves

  • As a Mid-Level Backend Developer, you'll be a key player in our fast-moving and collaborative development team
  • If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, tackle challenges head-on, and deliver solutions that make an immediate impact, this is the role for you
  • Dive into the development of backend services using Node.js, emphasising agility and speed
  • Contribute to building scalable and efficient solutions that evolve with the needs of our startup
  • Collaborate with our team to leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS for rapid and scalable cloud-based solutions
  • Optimise cloud infrastructure on the fly for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Build Node.js Microservices
  • Use GraphQL and AWS Eventbridge to coordinate cross-service communication
  • Embrace Kubernetes for rapid container orchestration, ensuring quick deployment and scalability
  • Be part of a DevOps culture that values continuous integration and automated deployments
  • Implement and refine database solutions using Couchbase
  • Contribute to maintaining data consistency, integrity, and performance
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely in a cross-functional team to deliver high-impact software solutions
  • Participate in rapid iteration cycles, problem-solving, and refining solutions based on user feedback
  • Implement monitoring solutions to identify and address performance bottlenecks
  • Be proactive in troubleshooting and resolving backend issues swiftly
