Our take

LGBT Great is an LGBT+ membership community for the financial services industry, offering valuable insights, visibility, and outreach initiatives. The platform connects members, providing a safe space for LGBT+ individuals and allies to network and learn.

LGBT Great’s defining feature is its Inclusion Index Benchmarking Tracker (the iiBT), which acts as a tool for financial services businesses to set goals, track progress and act for impact in areas that make a real difference to their diversity and inclusion. Since its introduction, the iiBT has grown to be recognised as a key demonstrator of LGBT+ standards in the industry.

By providing tools for companies to fully assess and evidence their commitment towards LGBT+ issues, LGBT Great is ahead of the curve in treating LGBT+ equality as a critical priority, and in persuading others to do the same. The company also partnered with Citi to launch its Top 100 Gamechangers 2022 programme, which spotlights LGBT+ people affecting change for equality in the financial services space.
