Who you are

  • Have a proven ability to effectively sell disruptive new products and service offerings to large and complex organisations. Average contract sizes of GBP 300k -3M
  • Have “seen greatness”. We are seeking someone with first hand experience as a CRO, Chief Sales Officer, VP Sales, Head of Sales or similar in a truly successful high growth company

  • Have a track record developing and continually enhancing the needed sales infrastructure and processes in growth-stage companies; sales tools, onboarding, compensation plans, training and skills, account management
  • Be a passionate advocate for digital transformation in healthcare. You must embrace the opportunities in this market and have a good appreciation of digital technologies such as smart devices, Big Data, IoT and predictive analytics yet understand the need for a comprehensive service layer to bring about disruptive change

What the job involves

  • Lead global sales efforts across multiple regions, channels and segments. Including public and private healthcare and the pharmaceutical sector. Define and execute global sales strategy, establish strategic and tactical plans required to identify, qualify and win new sales opportunities
  • Scale and develop an A-team of sales talent at all levels to build on the existing sales footprint: ensuring the people and processes are in place to deliver on ambitious growth targets
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Sales and CS managers and identify knowledge gaps and training needs within the sales teams
  • Initiate, own and drive high-impact initiatives to support both existing and new growth areas: ensure revenue and profitability goals are achieved across regions
  • Develop a winning culture of continuous improvement through proactive actions and inspiring sales efforts

Making the transition to a digital healthcare infrastructure requires a change in technology, culture and attitudes. However, the shift can be enormously beneficial as it’s easier to access records, clinical outcomes can be improved, and doctors can communicate with their patients more effectively.

HealthTech company, Doccla, is part of this transition and are setting out to to make virtual hospitals a core part of modern healthcare. They secured 26 million euros in investment between 2021 and 2023 to develop its pioneering virtual ward technology. This will help hospitals alleviate the pressure on resources, enabling the early discharge of patients while remaining under the care of clinicians.

The company will be using its 2023 funds to invest further in the technology as well as European expansion, first focusing on the German market.
