Our take

Glopal is an international cross-border trade platform that allows brands and companies to sell overseas and grow their customer base. Founded in 2020, Glopal implements localisation features so that traders can reach new customer bases.

In an increasingly globalised world, there are a growing number of companies trying to compete with the likes of eBay and Amazon, using software capable of low to no-fee currency exchange and language translation features. Glopal might still be relatively young, but has already partnered with fashion brands such as Brother2Brother to develop an eCommerce platform for its clothes.

Deals like this have helped Glopal build itself up in the face of fierce eCommerce platform competition - it now has a customer base spanning over 100 countries. The company has raised significant funding that will support expansion in Europe, the UK, and the US, as well as being invested in further improving its technology to ensure its solution remains competitive.
