The complications of payments within the trucking and transportation industry are immense, with drivers and companies having to deal with fees, spending limits, and credit scores every day. Drivers must also frequently deal with the costs associated with repairs, insurance, and road tolls, and this can quickly become difficult to manage for both drivers and employers.

AtoB is setting out to change this. The company develops payment infrastructure for trucking and transportation industries, providing drivers with fuel cards that offer truck stop and gas station discounts, without service fees or credit score checks. In addition to these employee benefits, the company also provides fintech solutions for transportation employers to track their drivers' transactions, set spending limits, and gain insights into financial inefficiencies.

In recent years, there has been growing investment into digitising the transportation sector (especially focused on making financial practices more efficient). As a result, the market is becoming increasingly competitive, with companies like BasicBlock and CloudTrucks successfully attracting considerable investment. AtoB have also raised impressive funding, and will be focused on international expansion, starting with Canada and Mexico.
