Role

Who you are

  • Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative or Inside Sales Account Executive, with a strong background in lead generation through cold calling and emails, managing a pipeline of opportunities, and closing deals
  • Willingness to dive into new projects, experiment, quickly learn from failures, and scale successful efforts
  • Proficiency in Outreach, Salesforce, Zoominfo, and other sales-based tools and programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational and leadership abilities. Problem-solving skills are a must
  • A positive mindset, with a strong sense of curiosity and coachability. You should be open to learning new tools, systems, and best -practices to continuously improve
  • Flexibility and patience in a rapidly evolving startup environment, understanding that reports and processes may change frequently
  • Active listening skills, with a talent for building relationships, tactfully overcoming objections, and finding creative solutions to challenges

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to join our team
  • As a BDR, you will report to the Sales Development Manager and play a crucial role in our revenue-generating efforts
  • You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities to contribute towards our sales performance goals
  • You will be one of the faces of our company, engaging with prospects through various communication channels, and working the entire sales cycle for both inbound and outbound opportunities and sales qualified leads
  • Identify and prospect for new customers by leveraging email and engaging in heavy outbound calling
  • Set up quality meetings, manage a pipeline, nurture relationships, and close deals
  • Contribute minimum of 125 sold units per quarter to the sales team
  • Develop creative and customized outreach strategies to reach potential customers
  • Utilize your resilience, positivity, curiosity, and passion for our mission to remain focused and determined in your outreach and follow-up activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of individuals across multiple sectors and mediums

Our take

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the US, taking the lives of over 350,000 people per year. Currently, the survival rate for SCA is extremely low, but chances rise substantially if treatment can be administered quickly.

Avive Solutions exists to support better survival rates for SCA. The idea is to supply normal people with the tools to save lives, by developing and supplying automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The company's machines, which are currently the most portable FDA-approved AEDs on the market, not only act as defibrillators but also connect to other devices for remote monitoring, and can communicate with 911.

With the ultimate vision that no witnessed SCA goes untreated, there is no denying that Avive's undertaking is a noble one. Its product has been recognised by the International Design Excellence Awards, and substantial growth funding will be used to build connected AED networks in cities that enable AEDs to be used on Sudden Cardiac Arrest cases well before emergency services can arrive on scene.
