I'd say Faculty isn't for you if you like having train track set out, and your job is to go down them. But if you like the challenge of figuring out how to solve problems as you go, working with some seriously smart people as you do, then it's a lot of fun.

People here get a lot of trust to figure things out. They also get the chance to earn a lot of responsibility at a relatively early stage in their career. If you're smart enough, then you're good enough.

Clue is in the name I guess. More PhDs than you can shake a stick at. Easily the smartest group of people I have ever worked with. (And friendly and humble with it too).

At Faculty there is an emphasis on output rather than simply being at your desk. People are trusted to work when are where they are most productive.

I have learnt so much since joining Faculty. I've had the chance to work on a real mix of different projects, across different clients, and tech. I've been challenged to do my best work (in a good way), but also had the opportunity to work with others, and learn from their experience. The environment is supportive and fun, where we can work on some pretty amazing projects, but also have fun while doing it.

We work with a real mix of technologies, often adjusting depending on what a client is looking for. Getting exposure to the Faculty Platform has been really exciting.

Faculty has a supportive environment, but also gives me the space to work in the way I want. My manager is on hand to help when I need it, but not breathing down my neck. It's been a really refreshing change for me.

We are working on solving some of the worlds hardest problems and breaking new ground within AI. Internally, we are one of the fastest growing companies in the UK and beyond and this brings opportunities to solve difficult and rewarding problems every day.

There are very clear communications channels to the senior leadership team and people are encouraged to contribute. I have been able to make my own calls on projects I'm passionate about without a fear of failure.

This is something that is articulated as very important to our leadership team. We work with outside organisations like 01Founders to learn more about how we can build a diverse tech community for the future.

Faculty is at the forefront of AI. Since the field is changing quickly, that means having new challenges all the time, ranging from using the latest open source packages to have access to cutting edge algorithms, or figuring out how to deploy complex ML pipelines.

I joined Faculty just shy of 6 years ago. I think what makes me excited to come to work every morning is really the people I work with. I've never encountered so many driven, smart, caring, kind people in my career.
