ConsenSys is a Ethereum software company that builds blockchain tech, allowing businesses to build the next generation of digital and tech applications.
Founded in 2014, ConsenSys’s founder Joseph Lubin had already created the revolutionary Ethereum earlier that year and launched ConsenSys Software and ConsenSys Mesh, a blockchain investment company, to “harness” the powerful capabilities of Ethereum. ConsenSys have moved forward into the Web3 and metaverse space and continue to function on the principles of building a digital, decentralised economy.
Despite unicorn status, ConsenSys continue to operate in uncertain and unpredictable territory. After several bursts of reorganisation and a “merge” of sister company Ethereum, change is the norm for ConsenSys. Regardless, the revolutionary technology and continuous breakthroughs that ConsenSys and the companies it invests in spearhead, show that they're flexible enough to maintain momentum.
