I'm trusted to do my work regardless of whether I'm in the office or working from my spare room. Our mobile wiser scheme gives us the opportunity to work completely remote for up to 90 days in a 12 month period which lots of us take up.

Growth is self led here and there are heaps of opportunities to do side by sides with other teams to learn more about what they do. Being a scaling business also means that priorities shift. This means that you're constantly learning something new to enable our mission.

Money without borders is something I feel very aligned to, and Wise do a great job of connecting us all so we can understand our individual impact on our mission. Banks still charge extortionate fees for cross-border payments and we're helping democratise and driving transparency in International Banking for our customers.

I joined Wise in April 2022 and have a genuinely great experience. The Sunday dread is gone for the first time in my career. The Wise mission of Money Without Boarders is so important to people all around the world and Wise has built a platform for transparency in an industry that tries to hide. I love to hear the impact that Wise is making on a daily basis to people's lives.

The key aspect that I have learnt while working at Wise is that you are trusted to do your job. As long as you are doing your job, the rest is up to you. So I go to the gym during the day and am around every evening for family and friends!

Diversity is critical to the way Wise works across all of our teams. Last month we worked with the Black Young Professionals group to support the team and support the applications of diverse groups. Our head of DE&I is also supporting everyone to make huge progress in building a diverse company that everyone feels welcome in.
